About Us

The firm Linda Dong, EA grew out of a desire to help people. As the tax law has become more complex, it has become more difficult for individuals to prepare their own returns. By continually stay abreast of the changes to the law, we can help our clients pay the lowest legal tax while also avoiding problems with the IRS and other taxing agencies. We enjoy helping small businesses succeed by providing them with the accounting and financial information they need to successfully run their businesses while at the same time helping them to minimize their taxes.

Our core values - values we strive to manifest in every aspect of our work - include professionalism, integrity and responsiveness. Our standard is that the services we provide and the work product we produce would be thorough, accurate, ethical, and timely. We appreciate the trust our clients have placed in us, and we work to continue to earn that trust.

Linda started her career working at the IRS, where she got a thorough training in the tax law and in performing tax audits. Not liking the adversarial nature of tax auditing, Linda left the IRS and began helping individuals with their taxes. Soon she was also working with small businesses, helping them with their accounting and showing them how to use the financial information to make better business decisions. She also began working with nonprofit organizations.

Linda graduated with honors in Accounting from the University of Illinois. She has been an Enrolled Agent (EA), a tax professional licensed by the Department of the Treasury, since 1982. She earned both the Accredited Business Accountant (ABA) and the Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) credentials from the Accreditation Council of Accountancy and Taxation. She is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor

Linda is active in the National Society of Accountants (NSA) and the California Society of Tax Consultants (CSTC), and teaches classes to tax and accounting professionals. She enjoys traveling with her husband and her family, gardening, and walking her dog, Squiggles.
